It has indeed been a busy term in the Primary school, the highlights of which were the Shared Learning sessions with parents from EY to Year 6, raising over RM5,000 during Autism Awareness week, and the U11 boys football team winning the Kuala Lumpur Sports League trophy!

Amidst all that excitement, the interactive learning that has taken place has been varied and engaging. From Year 1 children making puppets in the D&T lessons to Year 6 making sandwiches in their English lessons, it is wonderful to see how enthusiastic the teaching staff and students are on a daily basis.

My Pet Rock
During their scientific study of Living and Nonliving things, Year 2 students were asked to consider the advantages and disadvantages of having a Pet Rock. Linking the science topic to their literacy lessons gave the children some very good points for discussion. Later they decorated their own ‘Pet Rock’ to display in the breakout area.

Let’s Build A City
On the topic of different types of buildings and significant geographical features around the world, each Year 2 class selected a city to build during their Art, Design and Technology lessons. This topic allowed the children to explore, research and share lots of information about their chosen destination.
